the good enough way is not always

the best way

Life in the trenches is not for the faint of heart. Thriving in the sacred covenant of marriage is not easy. Raising kids is full of pitfalls and all-out warfare in our current cultural climate. Finding your people and maintaining those bonds can be a real challenge.

We are called to love God and love others, in community. We have been created by God for these purposes.

But how do we do it all? And do it well?

The world seduces into settling for good enough marriages, families, and spiritual lives. There is a better way; there is a best way: God’s way.

classes for life.

classes to grow.

With God.

For God.

Through God.

Ali Murphy, an educator and speaker, will lead you and your church or group through a six-week series on marriage, parenting, or community building. Short on time? She also offers one to two-hour workshops for your group.

Each class or workshop will be packed with thoughtfully-curated, theologically-sound material, facilitate dynamic reflection and intimate discussions, and provide time and space for practical application into the busyness of life.

the stories we tell ourselves

"So grateful for a new depth and understanding of Godś role and intention for my marriage. My faith has been strengthened and shaped in new ways. I have new eyes and a new heart for my husband. We have grown tremendously and I would 100% recommend this class to anyone who is married. "

"This class has changed my life forever and for the better. Having Ali present material we read and add personal insight and warmth made the class invaluable. Also, having an opportunity to discuss real issues in a safe community provided me with accountability to really change. My family and I are now going to church regularly and it feels so good!"

"Ali is approachable and energetic. Her ability to connect with each of us, her preparedness and her sense of humor made this class a ten out of ten for me. I am on fire to grow in my faith and put God and others first. I cannot wait for the next class"

about ali

Ali is thankful to be a wife to Matt, and mother of three children: Mia (14), Ellie (11), and Matty (6). A native Texan, she has called La Jolla home for more than twenty years. Her experiences as a middle school English teacher, Bible study leader, speaker, writer, and growth class teacher have equipped and prepared her for the work she’s been called to do now: spurring others on to encounter and be transformed by the living God.

She is passionate about providing these transformative experiences for women in practical ways.
